Open the pack in Motif and follow the built-in install guide — it walks the whole set and keeps your place. Each icon is added by hand as a native “Open App” shortcut in the Shortcuts app, which opens the real app directly. iOS gives no way for an app to place a whole icon set for you, so this part is manual, one icon at a time.
That is how iOS works: a shortcut is an additional icon, it does not replace the App Store app's own icon. Move the originals into the App Library (long press → Remove from Home Screen) and keep the Motif icons on your home screen. The in-app guide shows this step.
The guide saves the home and lock art to Photos and takes you to Settings → Wallpaper. Turn the blur off when the wallpaper picker offers it — otherwise the art is dimmed behind the frosted layer.
Apple News is offered in only a few countries, so a shortcut for it cannot be made in a way that works for most buyers. The app tells you this on the spot rather than shipping an icon that opens nothing. Everything else in the set installs normally.
Tap Restore Purchases — the button is in both the Library and the Settings screen. The unlock is a one-time non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it restores on any device signed in with the same account. If restore reports an error, check that you are signed in to the App Store with the account that made the purchase, then try again.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process payments and cannot issue a refund ourselves — but tell us what went wrong and we will try to fix it.
It needs your location: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Motif, set to “While Using the App”. After granting it, open Motif once so the widget gets a fresh reading. If the tile still shows an unavailable state, it prints the reason on the tile itself — send us that text and we will know what happened.
Long press an empty area of the home screen, then use the widget gallery and pick Motif. The in-app guide shows this with the exact steps for your iOS version.
Motif has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and collects no data about you. The details are on the privacy page.
